The two-axis CNC MillStar Jr is a low-cost system designed to bring increased productivity to knee mills.

It is a U.S.-made, complete two-axis retrofit package incorporating precision glass linear encoders, digital readout technology, high precision ballscrews for accuract positioning and heavy duty servomotors capable of machining parts at rated machine capacity.

It also features a 10" color LCD monitor, real-time graphics display and touchpad.

To get operators productive quickly, programming is fast with an intuitive menu-driven graphical interface that shows a graphic representation of the machining operations chosen, along with plain English language explanations. Repetitive machining operations such as bolt-hole patterns and drill cycles as well as complex features can be done quickly. The system's real-time software system can import G code from CAM programs or can operate in a plain shopfloor language format. Also, an automatic geometry calculation saves time and prevents miscalculation.

Other functions and features include digital readout display mode, linear error compensation, non-linear error compensation, machine homing, drill-single, drill-line at angle, drill grid, complete bolt holes, incomplete bolt holes and more.
