CRP Technology, a global leader in high speed and high quality CNC machining for mechanical parts production for more than 30 years as well as an esteemed RP service sales company that pioneered the development of WINDFORM composite materials; and Protocast srl, a leader in the medical and aerospace sectors for Casting, Micro-casting and Rapid Prototyping/Rapid Tooling technologies have just announced that the two companies have signed a partnership agreement with the aim of extending and integrating their services, with the aim of ensuring a higher quality standard and the best support to all their customers. This partnership brings together two companies that are recognised worldwide as leaders within their own specific markets — but essentially are two complementary companies within the Rapid Prototyping technologies sector.

Of particular note, Protocast srl will offer CRP Technology its principal services — SLM (Selective Laser Melting) and EBM (Electron Beam Melting) — on an exclusive basis within the global Motor Sport market. Protocast will bring its own experience developed over many years of research with applications in the aerospace and medial sectors. Similarly, CRP Technology will offer to Protocast and its customers the benefit of the company’s extensive experience with high speed and high quality CNC machining with 3, 4 & 5 axes;

Rapid Prototyping (RP) and Rapid Manufacturing (RM) with SLS Technology (Selective Laser Sintering) utilising the proprietary composite Windform materials; Rapid Casting (lost wax casting with disposable patterns made by RP) in Titanium, Steel or Superalloys; Engineering and Design optimisation; and Reverse Engineering Services.
