Metaltech Products, Inc., Lebanon, Missouri, has installed a Genesis robotic welding cell and a Trumpf CNC press brake.

The custom job-shop offers complete metal fabrication (sheet, light plate and structural).

The robotic welding cell, purchased through Genesis Turnkey Systems (Davenport, Iowa) will help with weld consistency and productivity. It features dual 4' x 8' pallets with a 54" swing.

The Trumpf 5085 CNC 94-ton press brake, purchased through Icon Machine, is programmable and features an eight-foot bed.

"We are investing in capital equipment to keep up with our growth," stated Darrel Bishop, owner and long-time industry veteran.

Metaltech started in June of 1998 with four employees in a 4,000- sq.ft. facility producing structural weldments. Today (10 years later) they have over 30,000-sq.ft. and 60 employees.

The company offers assistance in design and drafting services.

The company produces weldments (structures) and sheet metal fabrications with materials ranging in thickness from 22ga to 3/4". They also provide powder coating services.

The firm works mainly with carbon steel, aluminum and stainless. They serve a wide range of industries including: OEM in industrial (Caterpillar and John Deer) and manufacturing equipment (Speedline Electrovert), telecommunications (Verizon Wireless), and office furniture.
