Italian manufacturer of moulds for rubber processing, OR.P.Stampi, has expanded its facility.

The company has increased the floor space at its facility from 2,500 square metres to 3,500 square metres. Its factory is located in the town of Viadanica, which overlooks Lake Iseo.

OR.P.Stampi makes moulds for the production of O-rings, gaskets, bellows, rubber to metal applications and other products.

The company told PRW.com that its production has increased and now exceeds 1,000 moulds per year, and constant growth made the expansion essential.

It expansion has also involved acquisition of further machinery, an increase in personnel, and improvements to logistics.

The factory now houses 14 CNC milling machines, 6 CNC lathe machines and 3 EDM machines. It also has Autocad/Unigraphics NX5 software.

OR.P. Stampi says that 70% of its business is exported. It adds that its innovative ideas and developments are the result of work carried out in its Application Laboratory and is also due to the dedication of its highly qualified technicians.
