Flashcut, the CNC software used on the Ray-Ran CNC profile milling machine designed for ploymer materials is a simple, and easy to use software package that can be intergrated with most CAD software programs, such as AutoCad, to generate simple 2 1/2 dimensioning profiling operations without the need for expensive CAM software packages or experienced NC programmers.

No previous NC programming experience is required as the CAD drawing is saved as a *.dxf drawing file and imported into the Flashcut software. Then you have the simple option of adding parameters such as tool types, depth of cut and program zero locations. Once all the required parameters have been entered, Flashcut automatically generates the G-Code program to machine the sample.
