The new, American made, HAAS VF-5XT Vertical CNC Machine is a top-of-the-line, fully programmable machining center.

"The new HAAS CNC Machine was purchased to increase our automatic milling capabilities and meet the demands of our customers purchasing Prime UV Curing & Prime IR Action Dryers around the world. With natural gas costs on the rise printers and converters are looking for an alternative to natural gas dryers. In addition, the EPA is becoming even stricter with clean air permitting issues, the demand is ever increasing for Prime high-speed UV curing systems", explains Elinor Midlik, Prime Systems President.

Prime's Production Manager, Wayne Whitmore explains, "With the addition of the HAAS CNC we have increased our machining capabilities dramatically. Over all, production and manufacturing times have reduced 30% with the new HAAS Machine running along side our existing Mazak CNCs."
