Over 150 exhibitors will be presenting a wide array of products and services at the forthcoming Northern Manufacturing Technology 2008 exhibition. The show will be held at the Hallam Arena Sheffield on 1 and 2 October and include CAD systems and OEM products, machine tools, tooling, quality control systems and a wide range of machining, fabrication and finishing subcontract services.

Running alongside the exhibition, the Manufacturing Technology Seminar programme comprises 12 one-hour long individual sessions. Topics include cutting energy costs, Six Sigma, lean manufacturing techniques and the new materials and surface coatings can be the fastest, most cost-effective way of improving product performance. The seminars are free, but places are limited by the seating arrangements and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
