Prima Industrie and Finn-Power are set to make their first joint appearance at Euroblech 2008, showcasing their range of cutting, welding, drilling and punching technologies.

It marks the first time the companies have exhibited their range of products - including 2D and 3D laser cutting and welding, laser drilling, punching, integrated punching and laser cutting, integrated punching and shearing, bending, panelling and flexible manufacturing systems - together following the Finnish company's acquisition by Prima Industrie earlier this year The group will demonstrate most of its product range at Euroblech, including the Syncrono laser cutting system and the Platino laser machine


Prima Industrie's new generation CV5000 laser that allows high powers to be obtained with maximum efficiency, will also be exhibited.

Visitors will be able to see technology in integrated punching-laser cutting cells, a new combination of a punch press and a versatile material handling unit.

For bending operations, servo electric technology will focus on a new automation level that allows the utilisation of this productive technology at an attractive investment cost.

There will also be demonstrations of two new software systems including the Maestro-Libellula CAD/CAM software for laser machines, developed on powerful algorithms and on 'one-click' concept.

Another premiere will be Tulus, the integrated and scalable Finn-Power software for programming and management of the fabrication process.

Tulus is designed to combine together all manufacturing, programming and management tools needed for efficient and flexible production of sheet metal part using Finn-Power machines.
