Machine tool maker wins innovation award
ANCA Machine Tools has won the Industry category of the inaugural 
Advanced Manufacturing Australia Innovation Excellence Awards.
The award event was held at the Sofitel Ballroom in Melbourne on 10 October 2008, to an audience of more than 320 people.
It was attended by Senator Kim Carr and sponsors Betta Machine Tools, Bennett Precision Tooling and DMG.
The two other categories were won by David Stanley of C&I Precision Engineering for Apprentice Excellence, and Betime Nuhiji of Deakin University for Academic Achievement.
ANCA provides CNC tools, software and metal cutter grinders for large scale manufacturing and entry level production.
