Multi-tools expand turret punch presses
MATE Precision Tooling has released accessories for its thick turret punch 
presses.
The Ultra 3 station and 8 station Multi Tools are said to expand the capacity of thick turret CNC presses by allowing either three or eight punch and die sets to be placed in the auto-index machine station.
The Multi Tools are suited for the company’s Ultra TEC punches, strippers and Slug Free dies.
According to the manufacturer, the accessories can improve life between regrinds, allow changing of tools in the upper assembly without hand tools or disassembly, reduce downtime, and optimise punching performance.
The tools are compatible with automatic tool lubrication delivery systems. Lubrication is delivered via the punch ram through the central shaft over all moving surfaces within the Multi Tool punch holder assembly.
