GORDON Technologies says it has launched the Okuma LB4000 EX horizontal CNC lathe for heavy duty machining of extra large parts.
According to Gordon Technologies, the addition of the Okuma LB4000 EX CNC lathe extends the range of components its machines can manufacture.
The Okuma LB4000 EX horizontal CNC lathe has a maximum diameter of 102mm through the spindle, or up to 430mm by 1.5mm for chucking operations.
As in all LB EX machines, the LB4000 EX includes Okuma’s Thermo-Friendly Concept, with its thermal deviation compensation system designed to increase machining accuracy.
The technology is said to provide outstanding thermal stability in long-time continuous operation, multitasking, and Y-axis machining without compensation or warming up.
