NCMT has been appointed the sole UK and Ireland agent for CNC machining firm Speroni.

Headquartered in Italy, the precision engineering company offers a range of manual, motorised and automatic systems, together with associated software.

The CNC machining centres also allow users to upgrade their equipment as technology and production requirements change.

Speroni's latest tool presetter is the bench-top Magis, which features an integrated calibration master, pneumatic axis locks, X and Z-axis fine adjustment and a CCD camera.

It also has a single-screen control with optional touch screen to increase the speed of tool measurement.

The Magis presetting and measuring system control was launched in Hannover last year and can be put to use after just five minutes of training.

Founded in 1963, Speroni develops and manufactures tool presetting and measuring systems and inspection robots.

Its range offers products and solutions for tool preset, measurement and management and quality inspection.
