LVD Strippit releases PPEC line of press brakes

LVD Strippit has released the PPEC line of press brakes, designed for mid-range bending and for less challenging forming applications.

According to LVD Strippit, the PPEC-6 and PPEC-7 press brakes have capacities from 80t up to 220t. Depending on the machine model, the press brake is equipped with four to seven CNC controlled axes.

The PPEC press brakes are said to be very precise due to the welded one-piece frame, and precision-manufactured hydraulic cylinders and pistons.

The servo-controlled hydraulics and electronics are linked to microprocessor technology for control of the bending process and precision. Double bed referenced encoders are connected to the bed such that deformation of the side frames during bending does not influence the positioning accuracy.

LVD Strippit claims the PPEC's two-axis backgauge allows depth (X-axis) and height (R-axis) positioning of the two standard backgauge fingers. PPEC-6 and PPEC-7 models offer the additional flexibility of Z1 and Z2 motorized backgauge movement.

All new PPEC press brakes are equipped with LVD Strippit's CADMAN Lite control. The control includes functions like 2D graphic programming with automatic collision detection, direct angle or Quick Bend programming, and connection with the company’s CADMAN-B offline programming software.

LVD Strippit’s equipment is distributed in Australia by GWB Machine Tools.
