Cimatron will demonstrate CimatronE Version 9 at the 2009 NPE/Moldmaking Expo, which will take place 22-26 June at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago.

The CimatronE CAD/CAM solution suite helps tool makers and manufacturers deliver higher quality tools and products at lower costs and shorter cycle times.

It addresses the entire process from quoting through design, engineering changes, NC and EDM programming to delivery.

Highlights of the new and enhanced capabilities in CimatronE 9.0 include: greater mould-design automation; an application for defining electrode measuring points and probe paths; new machining strategies for high-speed machining (HSM) and five-axis milling; capabilities for handling product manufacturing information (PMI) throughout the design and manufacturing process; an application for transfer die design; and a new die quote generator.
