Subsequent to the highest level supplier approval, two major contracts have been received for precision parts that will be assembled into the electromagnetic catapult launch system. CVN 78 will be the first aircraft carrier of the newest Gerald R Ford class to have this latest technology installed. AMT will be providing over 40,000 critical parts in support of the EMALS construction.
