Tajik Modern Engineering Workshop’ (ITMEW) at Tajik Technical University, Dushanbe, Tajikistan valued Rs 3.4 crore, under assistance from the Government of India. HMT(I) would supply various mo dern CNC machine tools, die sinking machines, robot, equipment and also train Tajik personnel in India in operation and maintenance of machines.

Indian experts would be involved in installation & commissioning of the machines & equipment and provide on-the-job training to the Tajik University personnel in Tajikistan. The project is scheduled for completion within 13 months, HMT(I) said in a state ment. It has set up many engineering projects in countries such as Mauritius, Maldives, Senegal, Turkmenistan, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Tanzania and Sri Lanka. – PTI
