WAGO Profisafe modules integrate safety-related sensors and actuators into Sinumerik-840-D Powerline or Solutionline via Profibus. The 757-662 input module, with eight secure inputs, and the 753-667 I/O module, with four inputs and outputs, can be configured for optimal adaptation in the field. Filter times, test pulses and time monitoring can be optimised to meet the demands of sensor and actuator systems. These modules support safety applications up to Cat. 4 PLe and SIL 3 under Profisafe and are assigned to CNC control via fieldbus couplers for Profibus.


With the fieldbus couplers as components of the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM, users can not only take advantage of safety-related modules, but also the entire spectrum of I/O modules. Special safety and standard modules can be combined and easily arranged in a node, providing automation solutions with safety-related and non-safety-related functions.

The safety modules can integrate safety-related sensors and actuators in CNC machines equipped with Sinumerik-840-D control systems.
