Cayuga Nature Center in collaboration with The Museum of the Earth at PRI, will be holding its' annual Maple Festival Saturday and Suncay, March 26 and 27 at Cayuga Nature Center and is part of New York State Maple Producers weekend. Maple Festival at CNC will feature a pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with music and events from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Saturday come by to meet the new Director of Nature Center Programs.

Learn about maple syrup production with sugar bush tours and maple sugaring demonstrations or take the opportunity to walk the trails and see the new signage produced by Museum of the Earth explaining the process of maple syrup production. This year CNC will offer more live music from local musicians, including Technicolor Trailer Park, Lewiston, and Ironwood as well as additional vendors featuring local homemade products; soap, alpaca yarn, lotions (maple lip balm), glass, maple products, and ice cream. You can also enjoy animal programs with Emily Baker, the Manager of Animal Collections.

Admission to the festival is children ages 2-11 $5, adults $10 and families of 4-6 $25. Parking will be off of Garrett Road on the upper lot with transportation to and from the Nature Center provided by Gadabout.
