Simple Solutions FM, an authorized Autodesk ISV partner, has developed an AutoCAD toolset for text insertion and polyline auditing titled Simple FM Tools.

fmLabel included in Simple FM Tools, is a fast, accurate, AutoCAD text insertion tool that lets an AutoCAD user number an entire drawing in minutes. Flexible prefix, suffix, and incrementing value capabilities transform text insertion into a fast and simple process within AutoCAD.
Prefix the number being inserted into the drawing with any user defined text; add to that the ability to increment the number being inserted by a user defined value, and AutoCAD incremental text insertion productivity increases 100%.
The suffix capability in fmLabel was designed with the labeling of office cubicles in mind. Suffixing cubes with incremental letters reduces a tedious, time consuming task into a fast and accurate process.
The space auditing tool fmAudit, also included in Simple FM Tools, is designed to check polylines and their associated text within an AutoCAD floor plan drawing. fmAudit catches duplicate room numbers on floor plan drawings saving money in signage and hours uploading floor plan drawings to CAFM systems.
fmAudit also tags polylines with their associated space number and square footage. A user can tag polylines as Space Net, Space Gross, Floor, Zone and more. Once tagged, publish the AutoCAD floor plan drawing to DWF to allow users to mouse over the drawing spaces to view the associated space square footage.
