Hommel CNC-Technik loads as distributor of Okuma to an Open House at the European headquarters of the Japanese machine tool manufacturer to Krefeld. The customer event starts on 15th June and is up to 17th June every day from 9 to 18 Clock open, like Hommel informs.

As a highlight of H are two other models in the new horizontal machining centers-MB-series for the first time presented in Europe. The MB-8000H integrates a two-CD changer for 800 pallets. The main spindle provides 30kW, developed a torque of up to 606 Nm and speeds of up to 6000 min -1 .

The maximum range for processing workpieces, including devices is 1300 × 1450 mm (diameter × height). The exhibit also the new Matrix Magazine is one with 171 seats. The horizontal machining center offers a Turning Cut feature for turning professional.

The second European debut with the model number MB-4000H also integrated a two-CD changer for pallet size 400 × 400 mm. The main spindle rotates up to 15,000 min -1 and developed with its 26 kW, a torque of up to 163 Nm. The maximum range for processing workpieces, including devices with this model is 600 × 900 mm (diameter × height).

Rounding out the MB-H-series by the AMB for the first time in 2010 illustrated model MB-5000H. This horizontal machining center for mass production offers a two-CD changer for 500 pallets, the 26 kW main spindle rotates to 15,000 min -1 and develops up to 199 Nm. The processing area for workpieces measuring devices including here a maximum of 800 × 1,000 mm (diameter × height).
