Hyperworks 11.0 includes two new software products: Acusolve — a computational fluid-dynamics (CFD) flow and multi-physics solver; and Solidthinking — a 3D conceptual modelling and visualisation software; as well as an extended range of solver solutions in RADIOSS.

According to Altair, the addition of Acusolve brings a powerful CFD solution to designers and research engineers at all levels of expertise.

The company claims that Acusolve enables engineers to quickly obtain quality solutions and solve large, complex and mission-critical industrial problems, especially for transient flow and fluid-structure interaction.
