Hachisoft Corporation, a specialist in software development and consultation, has announced the release of a new version of their CAD drafting software duo, hsCADCreator and hsCADView. This update continues to meet the software’s existing goals by accessibly offering a full suite of features to non-expert users, while adding new features that catalyze the drafting experience.



hsCADCreator is a fully functional CAD software intended for users on a budget. It supports the industry-standard file formats (dwg, dxf, dxb, dwf) and has tools for creating, editing, and viewing CAD files. hsCADView has all the features of hsCADCreator except for the draw tools. It is intended for users who want to access, view, modify, export, and print a drawing without needing to draw themselves.

The added features to this major release of hsCADCreator and hsCADView, are an all new user interface, the much desired command line, and unique grid types. The software has been upgraded from plain, outdated tool bars, to a visually pleasing and accessible ribbon that houses the tools (as seen in Microsoft Office).

“We had a lot of users requesting a command line feature and the ability to activate and use tools primarily with the keyboard,” said Tyler Edwards, Hachisoft CEO. “We implemented this feature and added command auto-complete so that users do not have to memorize any commands.”

Another exciting feature in this release is the “dynamic grid” which changes its spacing and units to fit the user’s zoom level. This is convenient for drawings with a wide range of object sizes. Other additions to this release include more drawing tools, more settings (for user control), and convenient community support through the company website.
